The Zebra Book :: Website Design and Development
Introduction
The Zebra Book is a lovely book that teaches kids and adults how to embrace their stripes. It is beautifully illustrated and each picture goes with a letter of the alphabet that represents a rare disease.
11/10 as usual, exceeded expectations.

We designed the book's new website with accessibility in mind. We used semantic HTML5 elements and included descriptions for all images to make it easier for screen readers to use the site.
We also wanted to make it easier on the eyes and designed two different color themes - Dark and Light.
Color Palette
The Zebra Book already had a wonderful color scheme and we wanted to keep the tone of the website very minimal to let the book shine.
The color scheme was carefully designed to let the book's illustrations and colors look great in both Dark and Light modes.

Website
The design is whimsical and minimalistic. We let the content do the heavy lifting and abstracted as much of the layout away as possible.
